"My biggest joy is seeing people become their better selves"
The word ‘passion’ is thrown around these days, but the proof of Larissa’s passion is shown in her career history.
Working as a Personal Trainer and Strength Coach since 2010 she has invested the time to continually educate, up-skill and hone her craft.
It was her own health complaints which lead her to continue searching for answers…I’m a paragraph. Drag me to add paragraph to your block, write your own text and edit me. Being labelled a ‘fitness fanatic’ by one doctor as the cause to ongoing fatigue, head spins and eventual collapse when she was merely training twice per week! She knew her answers were elsewhere.
Piecing together the puzzle from glandular fever, late-in age chicken pox, chronic digestive issues and prioritising working three jobs over getting sleep, it was no wonder burnout was the end result.
Continual research, learning more on energy systems, the central nervous system, digestive health, hormones and its impact on all physical and mental performance led her progressively down the path of recovery. This sparked a passion in Larissa to seek better functioning and performance of her body. Now, she combines her extensive knowledge base in Strength and Conditioning with a Health Science degree in Naturopathy and Clinical Nutrition to train in smarter ways, to avoid burnout and be stronger both mentally and physically as a result. This is the candle she carries for all her clients, young or old, athlete or corporate, mothers and fathers.
Her clients call her an elite trainer with a plethora of knowledge. They call her passionate, pedantic, and knowledgeable. She personalises her health and fitness programs perfectly to suit the needs and wants of her clients and delivers them the results they are looking for. She pushes when a push is needed, calls a truth when there is one to be told, and demands a rest day when required. A true testament to her dedication is the fact she has such long-term clients, some who have hit 10+ years training together through many life stages.
Larissa’s infectious enthusiasm and sustained work ethic will encourage you to do what is required to produce the results you are seeking. Larissa has a thorough, professional and caring approach to everything she does and will guide you to be your best.
All that is left is the secret spice of your effort and consistency.

Jade Irving
Manager- Health Coach- Personal Trainer
"I love watching people grow and evolve, in the gym & in the kitchen"
Her turning point came when the bloating she experienced was mistaken by someone else for a potential pregnancy. Feeling dismayed, she began to take small steps to ‘get in shape’. No alcohol and riding a bike everywhere helped to shift some of the weight.
In 1999 whilst working as a pastry chef she needed a new way to stay fit. She began Muay Thai Training and what started as a new way to stay in shape turned into competition and a lifelong love for the sport.
When Jade discovered she was lactose and gluten sensitive, the connection between food and mood was made and there was no looking back. Gaining the right nutritional and lifestyle advice was the key to creating a sustainable positive mental outlook for her.
While working as a chef, teaching Muay Thai became a sideline love which led to obtaining a qualification in Personal Training. Jade’s journey is still unfolding but the key foundations have been laid. She lives by the philosophy: be good to your body and it will be good to you.
Working at Healthy Society provides her the opportunity to combine her unique combination of culinary and fitness coaching skills. This allows her to follow her passion and support people through the challenging moments in life and Jade will be the first to celebrate your successes with you.
